Tweed suits were made fairly popular by the literature professors and the British royals. Over time, the suit game has changed but the love for tweed suits hasn’t. So this time, we explore on how to rock a tweed suit in the modern times. I have managed to get my hands on some of finest tweed suits over the span of past few years. Thus, I thought to put one on for our dear friend’s wedding.
In this outfit I am wearing a brown studio tweed suit (zara), gray tweed waistcoat (asos), brown cotton shirt (zara), polka-dots pocket square (tailored), brown skinny plaid tie (tailored), triangle lapel pin (asos), red with white stripe wool socks (h&m) and two-tone sole plain black blucher with red round laces (h&m customized).
The trick in differentiating yourself from the boring professor look to a modern gentlemen lies in mixing and matching of your waistcoat with your suit
One of the most important things I am really excited about is the hem of the pants. As you can see in the above picture, I have kept the hem of the pants just right. If you want to make your suits look a million bucks worth, take it as a style bible and follow it until your death bed. It keeps your sock game up and makes you looking suave.
